Believe it or not, I don’t shop for myself that often. Being that it’s my job to help Who What Wear readers pick out a new pair of sneakers or the next big denim trend, by the time I finally need to something of my own, I give up (a little too easily). But coming off of a few-month shopping hiatus, in April I finally got around to addressing the fact that my wardrobe was in need of a refresh for spring. So I finally got busy picking up a few items I’d had my eye on.
Spring marks the start of sunny, warm weather in NYC, which means I’m finally shifting my focus to lightweight dresses, beach gear, and anything that offers a pop of color. While I still have some work to do to get my warm-weather wardrobe up to speed, I’m obsessed with the nine purchases I’ve made so far. Below you’ll find them all so you can give them a spin too. Because if I love these things enough to wear them myself, I figure you might just love them too. Happy shopping!
Before heading out on a trip to India a few weeks ago, I picked up this cute netted tote as the ideal travel bag. It’s easy to pack (which is crucial since I’m a carry-on girl) and it fits whatever you’ll need during the day.
Splurging on statement shoes can be intimidating, but there’s just something about these Maryam Nassir Zadeh heels that make it all worth it. The brand has a knack for creating quirky, fun designs that still seem to work for any occasion.
Everlane has mastered the art of doing everyday wear better than anyone else. The brand’s new underwear (unsurprisingly) is simply perfect. Soft and lightweight without ever being a bother, I recommend picking up a pair.
When it comes to workout clothes, I’m usually a fan of keeping things streamlined and sleek, but there’s something about this colorful Outdoor Voices top that just makes working out fun.
An easy way to revamp a classic outfit is by adding a cool pair of sunglasses. This skinny pair by Poppy Lissiman looks great with skinny jeans and a white tee.
I’m finally getting excited for the beach days in my near future and am starting to do some swimsuit shopping. I love the idea of embracing the colors I’ve been wanting to wear all spring by trying a two-tone bikini.
Last weekend I got the courage up to run a 10K race (terrifying), and thanks to these sneakers, I managed to actually hold myself to a pace goal too. They’re super light and fast—two things I’m all for when it comes to sneakers.
I’ve had my eye on up-and-coming brand Albus Lumen for a while now, so when these sold-out earrings were finally restocked, I jumped at the chance to pick them up.
Nice weather is finally here, which means I’m shopping for fun, flouncy dresses that I can wear to work. This patchwork style from Gap immediately caught my eye, and I can’t stop wearing it.
