Clearly it’s Tim Tebow’s world and we’re all just living in it.
The 30-year-old New York Mets outfield “prospect” is having himself a month, making it into the Eastern League All-Star Game, and off the field, dating Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. That’s two Miss Universes Tebow has been with in like a three-year span — we have to give the two-sport stud his props.
Tebow, who’s batting ninth and DH’ing for the Eastern Division All Stars, made his presence known during tonight’s game by doubling off Tigers prospect Beau Burrows in the second inning. (He would later ground out in his second at bat.)
Tebow is slashing .270/.337/.390 with five home runs and 12 doubles for the Binghamtom Rumble Ponies. Certainly those numbers don’t wow, but it honestly isn’t bad for someone we know as a football guy. He might even make it to the big leagues given the Mets are a total disaster.
