Dubbed the Riot Bowl in 2012 because Iowa State and West Virginia fans “pride themselves on tailgating, partying & rioting,” according to a 2012 YouTube video, the two schools are preparing to face off Saturday in Ames where the Iowa State police department is getting mentally prepared. But since this is ISU vs. West Virginia, we have the school police forces facing off in a tweet-off that could get heated as we get closer to the game.

There’s nothing better than campus police departments having a little fun and beefing like what we have here between Riot Bowl combatants. West Virginia has won four straight Riot Bowls, including last year’s 20-16 defensive struggle in Morgantown while Iowa State was ranked #14.

The Cyclone cops have their work cut out for them on Saturday; it’s going to be 55 and sunny (perfect get shitt faced weather) and it’s a 7:00 kickoff. You know this is a big time Riot Bowl recipe for drunkenness. Throw in Will Grier for Heisman on the road at night and the content should be outstanding. Stand by for that Saturday while I’m watching the Wisconsin-Michigan game.

Don’t worry you will be listening to Country Roads comes post game! Best of luck!
