I love the confidence on this kid who showed up to Steelers training camp last night decked out in a full Steelers uniform ready to check Antonio Brown. Anyone with that kind of determination to sneak past security and make his way onto the field just to try to cover the best receiver in the league at least deserves a rep or two. I’m still waiting on the video.
He might’ve been able to snake his way through an entire practice if he didn’t show up in Troy Polamalu’s number. You gonna to have to be smarter than that. That was the dead giveaway.
Post-Gazette – A Steelers fan dressed in yellow football pants, a yellow jersey and a helmet made it past security Saturday afternoon and attempted to take part in some drills at the beginning of Steelers practice.
It is not known how the fan made it past security, but real Steelers players quickly noticed the impostor who wore a jersey that had little resemblance to the practice jerseys the Steelers wear. It also didn’t help matters that the jersey had No. 43 emblazoned across the front of it. The Steelers haven’t issued Troy Polamalu’s old number since he retired following the 2014 season.
Apparently, he got escorted out of there before he got a chance to get his ankles snatched by AB. I think I can speak for us all in that we would’ve loved to see that. Like I said, he went the trouble to sneak onto the field, the least you could do was give him a shot. Sure, he probably has a screw loose for even thinking this scheme would work, but since he tried it, I need to see what he’s got.
If AB is doing this to real NFL corners, I can only imagine what would’ve happened to this guy
